![]() You never actually have to make any tough decision. There's a morality system, but it's kind of silly and on the nose. There's a levelling system, but it's quite easy to put points in to everything you want and have a super powered melee-mage with tons of health, mana, and most of the spells maxed out. But it's split into zones and each one is tiny and restrictive. Because as a RPG, compared to modern titles, Fable is quite simplistic. With that in mind the mechanics start making more sense to me. All the other systems seem superfluous until you consider the common mantra that Fable is a mix of RPG and The Sims-esque life sim. It's extraordinarily easy to beat the game provided you use magic and you have enough potions. You can get married to any NPC, but what benefit does it provide? The game has all these life-sim mechanics that you *can* engage with, but you don't need to. Something Yahtzee said about it resonated with me 'you can, but why would you?'. The achievement does pop with the zero damage version and also rewards you 100 renown for found treasure. Alternatively you can dig it up from the very beginning of the game, but the Frying Pan will have zero damage and no augmentation slots. You will dig up the frying pan, now just find an enemy and hit him with it. Go between the haystacks and the front wall of the Barn and dig. After you collect all six clues travel to Orchard Farm and go to the Barn, in front of the barn is a group of haystacks to the left of the open door. Windmill Hill chest - Chest is found behind the Windmill. In order to complete this quest you will need to find all six treasure clues and then dig up the frying pan in Orchard Farm. Out of the Frying Pan: Hit an enemy with the Frying Pan In order to get the Frying Pan with damage and augmentation slots you will need to complete the Hidden Booty Hunt side quest.
